1 Appearance It occurs as a white or almost white, light, fine, amorphous powder, not wettable by water.

(A) It gives the reaction of silicates.
(B) Water-dispersible fraction.
3 Solubility It is practically insoluble in water and mineral acids except hydrofluoric acid. It dissolves slowly in hot solutions of alkali hydroxides.
4 Chlorides Not more than 250 ppm.
5 Water-dispersible fraction Not more than 3.0%.
6 Loss on ignition Not more than 6.0%.
7 Assay Not less than 99.0% and not more than 101.0% SiO2 (ignited substance).

PACKAGING

MOLSIL™ HCAC is packed in HDPE bag or HDPE drum with double PE liners inside having bar-coded label and tamper-evident seal.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 5 years. Preserve in well-closed containers.
