Application: MOLSIL™ T is widely used in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and healthcare formulations as a glidant, adsorbent, anticaking agent and pharmaceutical excipient. MOLSIL™ T commonly incorporated into tablets, capsules, powders and specialty formulations to improve flow properties, reduce caking, enhance stability and optimize overall formulation performance. It is also utilized in formulations requiring high-purity talc.

We follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and adhere to international regulatory standards to ensure quality consistency with continuous supply.

1 Appearance It occurs as a light, homogeneous, white or almost white powder, greasy to the touch (non abrasive).

(A) Infrared absorption spectrophotometry.
(B) A white, crystalline precipitate is formed.
(C) It gives the reaction of silicates.
3 Solubility It is practically insoluble in water, in ethanol (96%) and in dilute solutions of acids and alkali hydroxides.
4 Acidity and Alkalinity Not more than 0.3 mL of 0.01 M sodium hydroxide is required to change the colour of the indicator to pink.
5 Water soluble substances Not more than 0.2%.
6 Aluminium Not more than 2.0%.
7 Calcium Not more than 0.9%.
8 Iron Not more than 0.25%.
9 Lead Not more than 10 ppm.
10 Magnesium Not less than 17.0% and not more than 19.5%.
11 Loss on ignition Not more than 7.0%.
12 Assay

PACKAGING

MOLSIL™ T is packed in HDPE bag or HDPE drum with double PE liners inside having bar-coded label and tamper-evident seal.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 5 years. Preserve in well-closed containers.
